Biography
Agness Kowalska grew up in south-western Poland, where after training as a classical musician (vocal, guitar, piano), she worked as an operatic choir artiste, in musical/operetta theatre, as well as toured Germany, Austria and Switzerland with classical repertoire, both with her theatre, as well as other classical music establishments. After moving to London, she supported herself by performing her original songs, while busking in her favourite Southbank locations & London Underground stations, working on her songwriting / music composing, and trying to establish musical connections relevant to her professional ambitions. One fateful day, she got introduced to Jc Enyioko - a fellow musician & music producer who, at the time, was embarking on setting in motion his record label - Jubec Records. The pair struck an instant alliance of like-minded individuals. Within the next years, the world has witnessed the creation of various recording initiatives from the Kowalska / Enyioko brand. Today, the KEpro formation has seven ongoing, stylistically distinctive projects under its belt ( OZYRYS, POSSEIDON, BACKAF, SOUKOU SOUL, MATUMBA, ONYIX, as well as records under the banner of KEpro ). The full scope of Agness involvement, within the Kowalska / Enyioko enterprise, involves songwriting, composing, music arrangement, performance - vocals, guitars, keyboards, music production. Currently, Agness has been working on the second album of KEpro, and her first solo album (under the name H'agne).
