Biography

My Rich Friends is the brain child of songwriter/artist Marc Jackson. MRF is a facet of Marc's long music career which began in the early 80s with his band RHEMA and was originally a Christian band but evolved into a techno-pop band. MRF is a solo project for Marc and has been compared to Nine Inch Nails. The song "Everything You Wanted" was featured in the HBO comedy reality series "Tourgasm" and appears on the soundtrack released on Rhino/Playtone Records in the early 2000s.

Since then Marc released his solo album "Comedy of Life" which was produced by Scott Patton, musical director for the country band Sugarland.

Marc continues to release songs as RHEMA along side original co-member Jeffrey Casey. The song "My Obscenity" is featured in the trailer for "Greed" and appears on RHEMA's "Shine" album available everywhere.

Marc has also written for Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles who performed "Naughty Would Be Nice for Christmas" live on the CMA Christmas special. Marc also sang and arranged the song "One Time Lover" and performed vocals on the jazz crossover album "Zambooka" by Misha Segal.

Marc is also a composer for 5 feature films, and scored the Showtime special "Baby Daddy" starring comedian Alec Mapa.
