A beat machine and dreams of having his brand of rap music heard by the world propelled Ryme Styne to take the process of recording and producing and writing into his own hands with his first inexpensive beat machine and lay down his original old school flavored style right in his bedroom thus the name for his first release, "The Bedroom Lyricist"
Calling his first record release "The Bedroom Lyricist" because all songs were recorded in his bedroom, Ryme Styne(which rhymes with fine wine)has many musical influences such as Run DMC, Prince, Big Daddy Kane, Michael Jackson, Jay-Z, and Audio Slave. Born in Alaska due to his parents' military affiliation, he also spent time in Germany, was raised between South Carolina and Florida and completed high school in Tennessee. He was once part of a rap group and has performed at various locations in and around New York City. He now resides in Long Island, New York
