"Bang!" is their highest-charting song and only song to reach the top 10 in the United States, peaking at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 on January 20, 2021.The name "AJR" comes from the first initials of the three brothers. The band writes, produces, and mixes their music in the living room of their apartment in Chelsea. Their musical style combines elements of pop, electronic, and dubstep.
