Sarah Homeh has her Bachelor Degree with Honours in Music from the University of New South Wales. She started singing from birth (as we all do), and started lessons on the contrabass at age 16. Since 2017 Sarah has been making her way into the Sydney music scene with various amazing musicians. Performing at venues like Lazybones, Camelot Lounge, Butchers Brew, and Sydney Brewery. Sarah has even had the opportunity to tour nationally to Western Australia for the Perth Fringe Festival with Michael Wheatley’s Dirty Carpet Disco Band. Her trio ‘The Butchers’ have been featured at the Manly Jazz Festival Festival, and the Kiama Jazz Festival. Although primarily focused on jazz in her musical studies she also enjoys funk, soul, RnB, and the blues. These genres are noticeably influential, especially since she has started to compose her own music.
