One of the first electronic acts signed to Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records, lifelong friends Keith Robertson and Dave Henderson have made quite an impact on contemporary dance music. The Toronto-born duo achieved global acclaim with their 2013 track “Play It Again,” as it reached #1 on iTunes’ Dance charts. In 2015, AutoErotique scored their biggest hit to date with “Badman,” the anthemic electro house collaboration with Max Styler. The ensuing remix package spawned the Torro Torro rendition, which was nominated for a 2016 Juno award for Dance Recording of the Year. In addition, 2016 saw AutoErotique link up with Major Lazer for “The Sound,” a festival favorite that garnered support from Skrillex, Dillon Francis, Martin Garrix, Zeds Dead, and Calvin Harris, who dropped it live at Coachella. AutoErotique have also played some of the biggest music festivals in the world, including Ultra, Electric Zoo, and Tomorrowland. AutoErotique closed out the 2016 summer by teaming up with Steve Aoki for “ILYSM,” a collaboration featured on Aoki’s momentous 4OKI EP. The single has been streamed over 10M times on Spotify and was recently performed by Aoki and Autoerotique live on MTV’s Wonderland.
