Philippe-Marc Anquetil is a veteran of the Music Industry. From humble beginnings in South-Western Sydney, Australia, to an International Career in Song-Writing, Production, Mixing and Mastering, Singing, Vocal Coaching, Publishing and Management.
With over 15 years experience working in an ever-changing international music industry, he prides himself as a key player in the future of our Local Australian music industry. He is now focused on mentoring and educating, while continuing to ply his trade when the need arises.
Since finishing his Bachelor of Music at Sydney University and Sydney’s prestigious Conservatorium of Music, mentored by some of Australias finest Composers, Anne Boyd, Ross Edwards and Peter Sculthorpe, he has gone on to secure over 180 contemporary releases worldwide, working with the likes of Little Mix, One Direction, Jessie J, Tinie Tempah and Kelly Rowland, Cher, YouMeAtSix, Chiddy, Kumi Koda, Ayumi Hamasaki, Toho Shinki, Shinee, and more locally RUEL, Timomatic, The Justice Crew, Joe Moore, Christina Castle, Prinnie Stevens, Paulini, Bella Paige and Alexa (The Voice Kids), Anna-Maria La Spina and many more nationally and internationally.
As a previous Co-Owner of boutique independent publisher, PHRASED DIFFERENTLY (London), he was given many roles facilitating the growth and maintenance of the creative and business side of Publishing. Some of the roles included management and organisation of Writer Retreats, A&R – which included Artist, Writer and Producer development, Head of Sync – which included organising catalogue and developing relationships with key personnel, and of course song-plugging and pitching.
The past years have seen him delve more into ARTIST DEVELOPMENT, where he has worked as a mentor and tutor for the Talent Development Project (TDP) which is a joint initiative between the New South Wales Department of Education and Communities and the entertainment industry, and is also a consultant and Tutor for CaSPA which is the dynamic Performing Arts Program of Sydney Catholic Schools. This along with his company IAM Artist Development puts him in a brilliant space to energise the Australian Music industry from bottom up!
