In 2019 The recording studio was again shortlisted for Studio of The Year.

Alongside Urchin’s awards nomination, Dan won MPG Breakthrough Engineer of The Year in 2014, and has subsequently been found on the shortlists for MPG Engineer of the year in 2016, PSNE Studio Engineer of the Year in 2014 and 2015, and Resolution Studio Producer/Engineer of the year 2014. More recently, Lewis & Leigh’s debut album ‘Ghost’, which was mixed by Dan at Urchin Studios won Album of The Year 2017 at the UK Americana Music Awards.

As well as his work directly as a music producer and engineer, Dan sits on the Executive Board of the MPG (Music Producer’s Guild) and MPG Awards, a position which he has held for the past 3 years.
