ALEXIA

When Pop ingenue Alexia first burst on the music scene she was just 14 years old. From a very young age Alexia always loved to entertain. Throughout elementary school she would enter talent shows and perform in school plays. When she was just 14 she cut her first demo and quickly gained the attention of local producers. She had a great local following and would open up for well known acts at major venues in the New England area.

In 1992 she started an independent record label Xia Recordings and released her first single "It's all about you" One of Alexia's greatest qualities was always "Self Promotion" After pounding the pavement the single was picked up by leading local radio stations and it quickly caught on in the area, spreading out and drawing attention on the East Coast, Mid West and other major markets. She was literally selling the record out of her trunk by the thousands when the radio play caught the attention of Nationwide Street Information Networks monthly promotional CD, which then caught the attention of Strictly Rhythm Records. She signed a record deal with SRR in 1996. She went on a nationwide promotional tour and her song hit the top 100.

Since her departure from Strictly Rhythm, Alexia has been behind the scenes writing and producing, doing voice over production work and managing and mentoring up and coming artists. Her catalog of songs ranges from Pop to Hip Hop and she is truly doing what she loves. She is currently working with HighHorse Entertainment on upcoming artist Rod Strong's sophomore album, and is President of her own production company and record label Xia Recordings.
