New Musik were an English synthpop group active from 1977 to 1982. Led by Tony Mansfield, they achieved success in 1980 with the top 20 single "Living by Numbers" which was followed up with the top 40 hits "This World of Water", "Sanctuary" and hit album From A to B.

New Musik was based in London-based band. They released their first single, "Straight Lines," in 1979, followed by their debut album, From A to B, in 1980. The album reached the Top 40 in the UK Albums Chart and contained four hit singles. The band's second album, Anywhere, was released in 1981, reaching No. 68 in the UK. After the demise of GTO Records, New Musik released their third and final album, Warp, in 1982, which was more experimental and primarily electronic. The band disbanded shortly after. Tony Mansfield went on to achieve success in music production, working with various artists. From A to B and Anywhere were re-released on CD with bonus tracks in 1994, 2001, and 2011, while Warp was released on CD in 2001 and 2011.
