William Mimnaugh (aka WiL) is known by many for his guitar-string-breaking, adrenalin packed, live performances but the Vancouver Island based singer-songwriter has also garnered international attention from a string of songs including 'Roam' flagship anthem to Travel Alberta's award winning media campaign called ‘Remember To Breathe’. His diverse style of writing blends elements of country, rock, folk, blues and straight up pop to create songs that span a wider musical landscape yet, the live arena is where WiL elevates his artistry to a whole other level affording him the opportunity to share the stage with such musically diverse artists as Feist, Matt Andersen, Burton Cummings, Ray LaMontagne to name a few. Wil performs live with his steady drummer Keith Gallant and/or as trio with keyboardist Lena Birtwistle.
