Henry has been described as a cult figure, a chameleon artist lurking in the depths of music and, with a unique vocal style producing melancholic lyrics about daily human experiences. On previous visits to Australia, Henry has played his own material in acoustic and electric solo shows, as well as with his Australian bands, The Kindred Souls and The Barstool Ghosts in Melbourne and interstate. Henry has an extensive discography with his most recent release being Lyssophobic Songs with his second project, The Barstool Ghosts. His last album, Songs from Exile, recorded with The Kindred Souls, was released in November 2019. And his newest record Songs From Earth will be soon release. While The Barstool Ghosts’ style is smooth alternative-country with two guitars, double bass, drums and keyboard, The Kindred Souls has a more moody alternative-rock sound with one and sometimes two guitars, drums and bass.
