A creative leader, connector, and innovator, F. Reid Shippen has spent 20+ years in Nashville, TN building an incredibly diverse array of skills. He is a multiple Grammy Award-winning music mixer, engineer, and producer, whose credits include 11 Grammy Award-winning albums and over 100 #1 singles. His discography spans multiple genres, featuring a wide range of artists including Ingrid Michaelson, Kenny Chesney, India.Arie, Elle King, Cage the Elephant, Disney, Little Big Town, CeCe Winans, Steven Tyler, Jelly Roll, Colony House, the Temptations, Lucie Silvas, and Dierks Bentley. He has twice received the Academy of Country Music award for Audio Engineer of the Year, previously served as co-chair of the Producers & Engineers Wing of NARAS, and is also an owner and Chief Creative Officer (Nashville) of the award-winning NYC sync shop The Music Playground. A passionate advocate for music education, he co-teaches "A Minor in Reality" at Middle Tennessee State University and is a co-founder of SongFarm, a creative-centered charity that focuses on providing creative curricula for secondary schools. He currently works out of his private studio in Nashville.
